What's going on? And yeah some weird accounts are throwing down votes is an issue.
Only whales are allowed to downvote, others will be punished without respite.
I think downvotes are still important to fight abuse; instead, perhaps we could stop making downvotes free. I think that could already stop some of the drama while still leaving the possibility to curtail bad actors
It should cost at least $ 1000 for each downvote.
to me downvote is for regulation and caution, so anyone using it should make sure is for the purpose of stopping abuse in the system and not for personal hate...
It seems to me like it the downvote is used more for personal hatred and for kicks.
Then that shouldn't be the case, personal reason should not be attached to the use of downvote.
