POBpets : Morning walk with Lola, the British Cream Golden Retriever

It was a beautiful morning for a walk on the trail with Lola today..

She is very happy when we go for a long walk early in the day since it doesn’t get too hot.

7:00 am is best but we have to be on the look out for coyotes... there have been lots of sightings in the area.

I guess I need to travel with a very big stick, or maybe a loud horn ... pepper spray ??? ... how do you defend yourself from a pack of hungry coyotes ? I need to do some research ... I will let you know what I find out.

Lola especially likes the shaded Pine and cedar forest ... we took lots of breaks.

Lola smells like a Big Pine Cone now. Definitely better than “wet dog”

If you are approached by a coyote, you should yell, wave your arms, and/or throw something at the coyote (do not run away).

Never run that's the big one. I wonder if they make a coyote spray? Maybe simply get a bear one.

Coyotes are wild, right. Dont you think that it's too dangerous the tread the path where they'll like be sighted?

Meanwhile Lola is such a beauty.

Yeah… we avoid the areas where there are sightings… but they seem to be everywhere lately.
