In the face of overwhelming and chaotic odds, we find a spectrum of conflict and emotion. The irregular flow of data confuses us. It distracts us from the perception of what we should do. It enslaves you to the concept that there is nothing you can do.
They are the ones that do not go gentle into that good night. They rage against the dying of the light. Despite the confusion and turmoil, these individuals focus upon a single wavelength of light. The light could be the will to live or the burning need to fulfill a function. It could be as complicated as taking down an enemy or as simple as engaging in conversation.
Welcome to the Word of the Week!
@Calumam is the creator of the Word of the Week Contest and this week's entry. Contestants create and post articles focused upon the chosen word.
Winners of the event earn NFT art and other potential prizes by Cal, but that's not all. Participating in the Contest itself is its reward.
It's a challenge of a different sort on both the evaluation side and the content creator side. He attempts to bring consistency, formality, and objectivity to a usually subjective process. It is a fascinating event.

I loved this phrase "Fate whispers to the warrior, 'You cannot withstand the storm.' The warrior whispers back, 'I am the storm." I didn't know.
A storm could represent a form of chaos that could ravage the land, air, or sea. Few, if any, can stand against it and survive. Fate's whisper to the warrior is a warning as there are storms within us as well. The warrior can claim to the be storm, but in doing so, admits that he himself can undermine his mission.
It's a beautiful and frightening prospect at the same time. How many times have I faced storms inside me and simply chose to be swallowed by them? Honestly, sometimes it feels like I need to suffer the aftermath of an internal storm to learn. It's not a conclusion that makes me happy, but it's an honest conclusion about myself.
There are some really great entries there I must say. Wonderful work everyone, looking forward to reading and supporting more great content.

Being enslaved and feeling like incapacitated touched my soul.
This is an everyday thing that happen in the life of a person who have this thing called "fear of the unknown" the bold alone takes the bull by the horn and keep winning, but the timid man stays in his shell enslaved till he dies.
I say to myself. I am the king of the jungle. The commander of everything around me. I am ready to face every single challenge that comes my way. It won't weigh me down but pave way to my success..

That’s why I post the update. Also, we started recording entries through hive sql because of past problems with missing posts. We get a lot of entries so I don’t want to miss any.
