LOL , German has Norwegian roots ,.. or better Phoenician roots ( Finnish = Phoenician ) ,.. Yes Finnish witch is very similar to old Greek in a amazing way . Something to do with the old Tartarian empire ( before the last ice age some say ) that had it's capital city in Hell , or Helsinki surrounded by Whalhala ( tropical forest of plenty ) , a place called Odin's garden (Eden) and a region named Asgard , where the family trees grew that where used to bury the ashes of the death family members . The first king's of Sweden and Denmark where son's of the Finnish king , Swen and Den .
Not that i made any real progress in learning Norwegian , so many dialect's to confuse me , i can understand the headlines in their conversations a bit now , but have not a clue yet on how to speak it properly . Mainly because i don't have to , as all speak very well English around here .
I somehow picked up Greek a lot faster , as not all spoke English , and it is a language far from my origin of speak . Like in Norwegian i hear things that sound like Dutch but have a other or even opposite meaning , it's hard to make my brain stop hearing the Dutch when i hear some speaking Norwegian . Like some say , it's harder to adjust a bit then to start all over from scratch .
Success on your learning of Spanish ( Mexican ) , greets from Tjeland . ;-)
