STOP DESTROYING YOUR SELF-ESTEEM

Firstly one of the major things that made up the foundation of confidence is something called self-esteem,self-esteem is defined as self worth,self respect and pride in who you are,it is absolutely impossible to be confidence if you don’t have high self esteem or respect for yourself.

To help build or boost your self esteem,you have to feel good about who you are and take pride in who you are because if you do this everything in your life gets better and your confidence will sky rocket.

I’m Going to discuss 5 self esteem destroying mistakes that a lot of people make,these are common mistakes and one way to going about them is to identify them and fix them because if you do that’s when you going to feel absolutely incredible about yourself and it would help build your self worth not to mention your self respect.

(1)Stop picking yourself apart.

Most people complain about theirselves a lot like I’m too short,my ears are so big,I don’t have beautiful eyes,I’m too fat,I’m ugly and so on but they don’t want to believe they are still awesome which sometimes make them their own worst critics,you really need to stop picking yourself apart.

(2)stop comparing yourself with other people.

The only person you’re in competition with is who you were yesterday,the only person you should compete with is yourself.comparing yourself with others destroys your self esteem.

(3)start doing the right thing.

Stop all the things you do that are self destructive,you know those things are not right and they are toxic(like going out drinking,consuming too much pornography,smoking etc)it makes you feel bad and guilty,constantly beating up yourself makes you feel bad about yourself,you need to start making the right decision and something amazing is going to happen and you will start feeling good about yourself.

(4)setting unrealistic expectations for yourself.

It’s important to set goals and aims you should strive for but set more realistic and obtainable goals,when you do this and obtain your goal,it makes you feel good about yourself then you can readjust and set a new one.being unable to obtain an unrealistic goal makes one feels bad about themselves.(it’s okay to fail,but you have to come back stronger whenever you fail).

(5)stop staying in relationships with toxic people.

Being in a toxic relationship has a dramatic impact on you feeling bad about yourself,once you identify somebody in your life is not good for you,it’s critical/essential that you remove them or limit your exposure to them because until you do you would never feel too great about yourself,toxic people make you feel bad about yourself.get around uplifting people,it helps build self esteem.(make the hard decision).

(6)work on your body.
It’s essential to work on your body,exercise a lot (hit the gym), drink a lot of water because it helps you stay hydrated,be mindful of your diet(eat healthy foods and fruits)stop eating crappy/unhealthy foods,you should also take good care of your skin(good skincare routine/products) when you have a good and healthy body it makes you feel great about yourself.

Those are some self esteem destroying mistakes being made by a lot of people and it has negative effects on their confidence,discover your mistakes and work on them if you want your to build your self esteem.
