POB Mobile Browser Experience

I use my mobile browser (Safari particularly) a lot to access the POB platform. While the site is extremely responsive on mobile browsers and the omnichannel experience is also great, there's a challenge that I have been facing since the launch of advertisements.

So when I open POB on my browser, it takes a few seconds (1-2 mostly) to completely load. Even if the screen is not fully loaded, I can still see the main icons to be used - the Edit icon and the Profile icon. These are fully functional even while the loading is in process.

Main Issue

In that 1-2 second period, when I click on the edit profile icon, I land upon the advertisement page because apparently by then the advertisement loads. And then I have to go back and reload the page the visit POB. Now, this is not a good user experience. Sometimes I end up closing the browser altogether because I don't like it and have limited time.

User experience always goes down by more number of clicks and such unseen behaviors and pushes them away. While I do understand that this is the problem of the slow internet but again, I'm sure not all of us have lightning-fast internet, especially not in my country.

Suggestion

  1. If we can move the advertisement section to somewhere else such that it doesn't impact the user experience and at the same time the visibility of the advertisement is not impacted.
  2. An even better solution is to cross-check with the user if they wish to be redirected to some other page using a pop-up message. This way we are informing the user that they will be redirected from POB to some other web page. The user can accept or deny the request basis on his choice.

@leprechaun Please look into this and see if it is a valid workaround.

I prefer to use only pc with hive keychain. I wouldn't risk sharing my posting keys with all tribes. I'll use they on mobile only if we will have keychain on mobile in the future.

Oh man, I am already doing this. Is it risky? Please give some security tips?

I don't know. I just know that when we share our posting keys with websites it could be saved somewhere, but when we use keychain, all the keys are saved only on pc.

I have been using mobile browsers since a long time now. Haven't seen any security issues as of now.

I'm just securing myself in case. I remember when we used utopian in steem and they used our accounts to downvote. Glad I changed the keys very fast in that time. Since then I do my best to use only keychain to login.

I use pob from my laptop but I will check mobile experience too

I thought am the only that experience this ,I think their is need to work on this website because sometimes it takes time to login on this website

I haven't been able to sign in to my pob.io account for a week now.
Someone suggested that I use the proofofbrain.blog which works, but its not like using the Pob.io. Its like using ecency or Peakd frontend to posts on POB. This is using my laptop.
I can at least claim my rewards and stake them using my phone lol

Someone please sort this out.
Yeah its the advts that is slowing it down.

May be you can check with @leprechaun. Not sure why you are not able to login.

I prefer using Google chrome for hive and pob
It's easier

Try Google Chrome, it's the best. I personally like it more than Web browser, it's too convenient and easy to access. That's how I stay active most of the time, lol😊. Use Google chrome app for both POB and Hive, you will love it👍

I have experience something like that too but I thought it my network provider that's why I don't complain on such. Thanks for bringing this to the notice of those who can find us the solution
