Take Responsibility Of Your Life

When we go to buy something, we always ask the shopkeeper for a Guarantee. What if the product doesn't work as expected or What if the product breaks the moment I take it home.

Before you even drive your new car, you get it insured so that there's someone to pay for any kind of loss you might incur to your car while driving.

When you buy a new house on a home loan, you get your house loan insured so that if anything goes wrong and you aren't able to pay your EMIs on time, somebody got your back.

But have you ever asked yourself for a return or refund of any kind when you don't function properly or you make things wrong for yourself? We want people to make guarantees to us but we are not ready to make guarantees to own selves.

How many times have you looked in the mirror to say you did wrong or you failed it? We just keep blaming it on the economy or market scenarios or environment or other people. We have all the reasons as to why we failed. But we never say that we failed because we didn't work hard enough or we didn't do it the way it was supposed to be done.

100% is not enough these days. We are living in a very fast-paced world where people are intelligent, smart, hard-working, and efficient. The competition is very high. To beat this high competition, you gotta give a minimum of 120%. That means if your body allows you to work for 10 hours in a day, you gotta stretch to 11.2 hours at least. And that's the minimum we are talking about here. it might also not be enough and you might have to give 14 hours. But that's what it takes to not let yourself down.

If you really want something, you will have to give it the amount of work and time it requires. It might require some sacrifices, saying no to your friends for parties, changing your food habits, giving up on some materialistic stuff. But you gotta prioritize.

Blaming someone or something is the easiest thing to do. But inside your heart, you know you are at fault. So blame yourself, ask yourself for a refund, question yourself on why you failed. And once you do this, next time you won't fail.
