Little bit of a trial and error process with getting it right after numerous attempts on finding a workable strategy to go from point A to point B.
The bicycle isn't fast enough. The motorbike is risky. Well, a car is comfortable but doesn't quite give the needed experience to explore sceneries along the way as a motorcycle with its open air would.
In this case, the point A to point B is mastering the technical skills of generally, creative work, and specifically, using the hands for crafting works of art.
The human hand is quite a marvel in terms of what it can do with bringing visions, intangible things, into life and making them tangible.
The hand is the bridge between both worlds and I guess the skill of making this bridge function well isn't an inherent ability for some of us.
Yes, it's probably there for almost everyone as a dormant ability that can be developed similar to learning a second language or playing an instrument.
A child in China doesn't start speaking Chinese because they have a special "Chinese gene." This ability to form those sounds, patterns and everything that contributes towards fluency in that language has all been sitting there waiting. But without exposure, practice, and the right conditions, it stays locked away.
I think same goes more or less for someone who's never picked up a guitar, without directed effort, it just remains as unused potential.
We have countless dormant abilities like this. Such as an ability to identify hundreds of bird species by their calls. Even something as specific as tasting subtle differences in coffee beans from different regions can be developed.
For the most part, these skills lie dormant because we lack the trigger or exposure and consistent practice that would activate them.
We can thank modern life for that, with its specialized roles and seemingly limited time, means we can only activate a handful of these sleeping capabilities. And we simply don't encounter the situations that would wake them up living in a compartment like type of existence.
Hidden exchange
Of course, as humans, we can't do everything. This is the other side of the spectrum that we have to contend with. I'm guessing there's some form of deliberate hidden here.
We also have inherent limitations on top of these inherent abilities. Kind of an exchange system built into our biology, which would have me believe there's an element of wisdom that's not readily apparent in why we're designed this way.
Obviously, if you want it bad enough, you will get it. But getting it will take time nonetheless, as there's no shortcut here in building the neural pathways and muscle memory required for true skill. Literally, you can't fasttrack your way through the hours of practice needed.
Better to get back to the drawing board now and stay much away from comparing the hours put in so far with the hours remaining to achieve basic level mastery.

We are capable of doing so much more although limited by time, happenings and sometimes excuses. It’s been a long while. Your consistency is remarkable 💪
Yes, time is always the main factor here. Life can be unforgiving on what needs to be done without much consideration on what one wants to do.
Good to hear from you, it's indeed been a long while. Hope everything has been well with you? Thanks for stopping by :)
