Well I Found The Cart's Wheel

Scrubbing around in the old dusty corner of my computer.

Wow I can't even believe I still have these and when I say this I mean "I can't believe that I still have these."

Why would you ask...

Well I took these photos way way wayyyyy back when HIVE was still called STEEMIT. Yeah it was that long ago and thinking back I did want to share these on HIVE back then and how I forgot about them still remains a mystery to myself.

I found them along with a few other cool images in a folder tucked away on my computer, hell I'm glad I've not shared them yet since I don't really know what to share today and photography seems like an easy option, it's always an easy option but I have so many pictures that I still want to share and I just never do.

Why is it so hard for me to spit out words around photography photos?

Some stuff just has a stronger effect on the eyes than words can describe I suppose, like that sunset you saw last week... can you describe it to me? It would be real hard hey?

So here's a few cool photos I took of an old cart wheel which are long forgotten about.

Now since these photos were taken almost three years ago I wonder how this would look now? Overgrown like mad or still taken care of? Although I doubt this would be grown over seeing that it was a kind of an ornament in someone's garden but you can only think for yourselves that one day all that would remain is the iron clads holding the wood in place. Then after the wood has gone the iron would start decaying too, it would however take a few decades longer than the wood but perish it will perish.

From dust you came and to dust you shall return.

Why do old antique things grab our attention so much? We have a neighboring farm of which the owner did a entire sweep of his fields to clean up all the pieces of metal lying about along with barbed wires and inbetween the heap of metal he found one of these cart wheels, the only difference being that it's all metal, not a splinter of wood in it but it doesn't look like it ever had any wood built into it.

Just one solid steel wheel about a meter and a half high, now that is big people. Real big!

Okay well that's enough of that, I didn't bring you here to read about my rantings and chantings, we are gathered here for the cool photos or well I think they look cool and that is really all that truely matters. I'm no real photographer so don't ask me for any ISO settings or that fancy smancy crap the people like to refer to.

I take a photo and well they just happen to come out as I want them to and that's all I care about. No clickity click here and there for the perfect settings.

When I first saw the photo, I wondered if you picked that up at Target for $500! lol! It's amazing the character that a piece like that can bring to a garden.

After awhile, it'll be crawling with insects, and bugs of all types will find a home in its many nooks and crannies. Something that looks all but dead, can be teeming with life at the onset of spring.
