Everyday of our lives we get to meet people of different categories, learn new things and meet some weirdos too and today wasn't exceptional.
I was in a cab today during the early hours of the morning praying for the congested road to clear up so I find my way to school on time before the lecturer gets in class when a man in his mid forties whom also is struggling to beat life issues walked up to the windscreen of the car trying to sell books.
I wasn't really interested in whatever or whoever he was trying to convince to get the product but I didn't seem to pay any attention to him as my mind was filled with thoughts of getting to school on time.
At a point I looked up and the man was gone to do his marketing to someone else and it happened that this person from her appearance was actually a well to do woman who had made it and was living a comfortable life.
Telling from the man's appearance one could depict that he feeds from hand to mouth. He looked a bit tattard, stressed and sleepy at the same time. On his skin could be clearly seen sun burn which signified that he's been really working tirelessly in the heat of the sun on a daily basis.
He had lots of books in his hand but when he approached the lady in her Lexus RX, he drew out one book from the heavy backpack he had and on it was written boldly "HOW TO MAKE MONEY" the author isn't known to me as I was only obliged to yhe title of the book since it was written in bold.
Honestly, to me I was like what the hell? Why is he tryna sell a book that has to do with money to a woman who had made the money already or should I say who knows how to make the money compared to himself who's been trying to survive in this world.
There and then I remembered the saying
Men don't know what they have until they lose it.
If the book he was trying to sell to that woman was really a savior from the stress of life, why didn't he make use of it while it lasted instead of trying to sell it to someone who actually has no need of it.
The man is more of a fresher when it comes to life matters or the money making game. If not he would have made good use of that book and put his knowledge to work but something was missing which evidently is intelligence.
He has limited intelligence and until he figures that out and gets a wider knowledge about life and all there is he'll keep feeding from hand to mouth even when the solution is right at his fingertips.
Interesting.
But there are hundreds of Books on "How TO Make Money" and most are a scam and only make money for the Author. Perhaps your tattered homeless man, already read the books and because of some tragedy, was selling them all? Curious to see where this man ends up!

Scam?? Really? I've never thought about it in that aspect though.
Woah! I see but then his senses should also drive him to thinking about being industrious as well instead of selling someone else's work of scam.
Just as curious as you are but we really got no connection as I only got to see him on the road but looking at him one could predict that he has no plans for his future apart form selling other people's work and making money for them.
