While taking a stroll through the Hive communities, I ended up stopping here. So many memories! POB was the community that best "welcomed" me when I joined Hive in the post-Steemit period. The votes from that phase helped me a lot to grow my account (which, between the ups and downs of the financial need to do Power Downs, remains strong and steady). I remember how there was a strong union and the rise of the POB front-end (which I don't know if it went ahead or not) and also the emergence of the VYB token, which I had the pleasure of actively participating in at the beginning.
At that stage, in addition to market fluctuations causing the value of tokens to drop too low, I was going through a period where I couldn't write or be active anymore, for various reasons, one of which was drugs. It's a period I'd rather not remember too much. But today I come back here and see that despite everything, the POB community remains strong. And I never stopped using the POB tag, I always believed in the concept and I think it's probably the greatest value of the entire Hive system, I respect and encourage that. It's no coincidence that I just sold 5k of POB that I had saved in my wallet, unfortunately, but I needed the money, I sold at a low price, I'm not one to regret doing certain things, but I feel I have the right to complain, hehe. I thought about delegating these tokens, but I needed the money more immediately. But life goes on, I can just start saving up again because POB will always be with me, in my tags and in my "text compositions."
I hope the project leaders are doing well and that everything is going smoothly! I would like to let you know that I have been back on Hive for a while now and am open to partnerships, working in curation, and in any role, as long as it is paid, because I really need to make some money. I am going through a phase of several positive changes in my life, but all of them inevitably require a lot of money. Either way, I will always be active!

Dando um passeio pelas comunidades do Hive acabei parando aqui. Quantas lembranças! O POB foi a comunidade que melhor me "acolheu" quando eu entrei pro Hive num período pós Steemit. Os votos daquela fase me ajudaram muito a crescer minha conta (que entre altos e baixos da necessidade financeira de fazer Power Downs, segue firme e forte). Lembro como havia uma união forte e estava rolando a ascenção do front-end do POB (que não sei se foi pra frente ou não) e também o surgimento do VYB token que tive o prazer de participar ativamente no começo.
Naquela fase além de que as flutuações do mercado abaixaram demais o valor dos tokens, eu estava num período que não conseguia mais escrever e ser ativo direito, por vários motivos e um deles eram as drogas, inclusive. Período que prefiro nem lembrar muito. Mas hoje volto aqui e vejo que apesar dos pesares, a comunidade POB continua forte. E eu jamais parei de utilizar a tag POB, sempre acreditei no conceito e acho que é provavelmente o maior valor do sistema Hive inteiro, respeito e incentivo isso. Não por acaso acabei de vender 5k de POB que eu tinha guardado em minha carteira, infelizmente, mas eu precisava da grana, vendi numa baixa inclusive, não sou de me arrepender muito de fazer certas merdas, mas me vejo no direito de reclamar hehe. Eu pensei em delegar esses tokens, mas eu precisava de uma grana mais imediata mesmo. Mas vida que segue, eu posso simplesmente começar a juntar tudo denovo até por que, o POB vai estar sempre comigo, em minhas tags e nas minhas "composições textuais".
Espero que os líderes do projeto estejam bem e que tudo siga firme! Gostaria de deixar aqui avisado que estou com força no Hive novamente já faz um tempinho e estou aberto a parcerias, a trabalhar na curadoria e em qualquer função, contanto que remunerada, por que realmente preciso fazer uma grana. Estou numa fase de várias mudanças positivas em minha vida mas todas elas exigem bastante dinheiro, invevitávelmente. Seja como for, estarei sempre ativo!

Eu lembro do vempromundo falando que nessa época de ouro do POB ele praticamente vivia de boa só com a venda do token POB. Eu fico imaginando, que da hora seria ter um token em que as pessoas conseguissem manter parte dele em stake mas que se precisassem também poderia vender e pegar um bom valor para pagar suas contas, comprar comida, sair e se divertir.
Acho que nunca vi nenhum outro token chegar perto do que foi o POB, pena que eu nao vivi essa época, tenho certeza que teria aprendido muitas coisas interessantes.
Exatamente, mano! Foi um período de fartura, quem não precisava pagar contas se saía ainda melhor, por que era só guardar ou trocar por HP etc. Eu não entendo de economia crypto infelizmente então não sei se seria possível um dia algum token crescer e vingar igual o POB já fez, ou se isso foi uma exceção, pelo que lembro na época o Hive em si valia muito, mas a diferença é que o POB era distribuído de forma generosa, enquanto o hive os votos eram menores, principalmente pra contas pequenas.
Entendi, foi uma época bem maneira mesmo. Hoje em dia eu acho difícil outro token estourar assim e ter estrutura para se manter, mas também nao entendo muito, então é so achismo kkk.

Yes! And I wonder a lot about so many coins that are launched, I see them appear and disappear or even always exist but fail to gain good value, as I mentioned to @shiftrox, understanding practically nothing about the Hive economy (about what makes some coins grow and appreciate and why others fail to do so), using examples from my own portfolio: STEM is a community that I respect a lot, I've written countless articles there, I see potential for more "intelligent" content, and the coin is worth so little. CCC is another token that could be worth more and unfortunately is worth little. Coins such as WAIV, LEO, Neoxag, etc. tend to be worth a little more. I needed some tutorials to understand this logic! hehe
Wow, thanks for the heads up! I'm honestly a little surprised, because in my opinion, using a surplus built up in the hive is totally valid and positive! For many people in third world countries (as is my case, here in Brazil), Hive is an opportunity to earn extra income that often saves the month when it comes to paying overdue bills. I've had to withdraw a lot from my account (I would be much better off here if I hadn't done power downs in the past), but even so, I've reestablished myself a little and have been trying to grow with dedication, posting regularly! And whenever I can, I increase my HP, even if slowly.
