Thank you for mentioning me here! Glad I could offer you a different perspective about the topic of free will that could bring you some comfort.

Great quality post, an awesome inspiration for meaningful debate. I repeat my recommendation that you watch Westworld, it explores all of these topics in great depth and with enormous care for detail. I also recommend that you get into mysticism at some point, if you haven't already, so that you can go even further in dismantling reality.

Really cool material, man!

Thank you, Dr. Rune! I did manage to delve into some mysticism a bit over here. It may have ended up advantageously dismantling a caustic union of polarized forces. Of course, one might attribute that to magiⓀcal-thinking too. I'll never tell. 😉 What variety of mysticism do you suggest? I did see the last season of 'Westworld,' it was an excellent thought experiment! I've also seen and enjoyed the original movie too. Never forget to selectively remember: "What the thinker thinks, the prover proves." This turn of phrase can serve as either a motivational or a demotivational, much like the ring that makes the happy man sad and the sad man happy. All of the various paradigms are ours for the taking. You can have one or the other—or even take them all, and with care, use them as you see fit.

You watched the last season without watching the previous ones? I can only imagine how strange that must've been for you, hahahaha.

And yes, everything in this material reality can be perceived one way or another, and the interplay between the two perceptions is the energetic core that fuels our existence. Why have one thing or the other when we can have both? Hahaha.

Regarding mystical traditions, you could start exploring Hermeticism with the Kybalion, and also explore Renaissance alchemists such as Paracelsus or Marsilio Ficino. Also, Carl Jung is an excellent source to study, he went deep into these things. When you feel drawn to it, you could eventually include Kabbalah and the Vedas. Have a great exploration!

I watched them all for the most part, but the last season, in particular, was the pièce de résistance. "the interplay between the two perceptions is the energetic core that fuels our existence." I like that! Hey, thanks so much for the recommendations!

Ahhh, I see! Glad you liked the season, a lot of people hated it with their guts, but the show's a tough pill to swallow for anyone not willing to question the nature of their reality, hahaha.

My pleasure, man. Anytime!

This Jesus doesn't turn the other cheek, he slaps you right in the face lol.

Oh, thanks, that's very cool! I didn't know about the natural medicine community, but it looks like a good one — especially considering these strange times of all things COVID-19. I know I'm going to do things au natural. No vaccines for me! I'd much rather experiment on myself with vitamin D, C, and zinc w/quercetin than to take part in dangerous clinical trials. Thanks again for the curate!
