The picture was taken by me during my trip at Vientien Laos , where there is flower being put at one of the buddha statue on the neck.

The buddha with the the group of cobra on their head also known as Naga Buddha statues. Naga, in Hinduism and Buddhism, is the Sanskrit word for a deity taking the form of a great snake, specifically the multi-headed king cobra. Source info . The snake or naga actually protecting the meditate monk and cover him from the rain and storm.

Back to our object today which is flower ,

WHY DID PEOPLE OFFEREING FLOWER TO BUDDHA?

People who believe in Buddhism offering flower in their worship that represent devotion and loyalty to his Lord , they believe by giving the flower it ll please the God and God will shower them wealth wealth , happiness, prosperity and health.
