In the midst of their new tour, Jane's Addiction introduced a previously unreleased song to their live repertoire. The band performed it in Bakersfield, California, and it is the first new song in the last 10 years. The group performed without their lead guitarist Dave Navarro, who was absent from this tour due to health complications related to long COVID, who was replaced by Josh Klinghoffer, the ex-Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist.

In an interview last year, Perry Farrell, the band's front man, commented that they had re-entered a studio with producers James Ford and Pete Robinson. Three new songs came out of these sessions and they only need the guitar tracks that could be covered by Navarro, Klinghoffer, or even Queens of the Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen, who had covered Navarro's role earlier in this tour.

In the same interview, Farrell spoke about the process of reuniting with his audience: I had one of the best tours of my life. I just love at the end of the show, seeing how many happy people were there. We get to them, and that's the best feeling in the world. To this, their bassist Eric Avery, who returned to the band after a decade, added: There was a shared sense of camaraderie, which translated into us feeling like a band again.

Look!!! here you can see Jane's Addiction doing "True Love".
