RE: REJECTED: Formal Proposal for Rules Governing Downvoting within the “Proof of Brain” Tribe

I stay out of most of the politics and I have very little invested at this point. I do love to talk about crypto and feel friendship with many.

So, I do hear your point. The whole idea of 2nd layer solutions is exactly what is happening here. So, I appreciate the ideas you guys are testing, trying and discussing.

Sort:

the second layer only works if we can rid ourselves of the accounts trying to control the content and take all the rewards, and it's already very clear on pob where that threat is coming from - for me this is an experiment playing out - if I have to keep beating around the bush because accounts I am not allowed to name will downvote me, then I'm not on a free platform - the moment i get out of the cage i'll stop beating around the bush - we all know who is screwing the platform, but don't dare say in public...

I think most get it.

It's a real weakness of DPOS which I think downvotes are less of the problem than the culture/who rules the stake.

I do feel shifts in the culture though.

I've seen the conversations I know how they go and what the mood is and how the conversation goes.

"Stupid. poor bloggers are taking our inflation for their shitty posts..." and they didn't buy stake.. grumble grumble grumble. It didn't bring investors 4 years ago.. blah blah blah
