I've been on the Hive Blockchain briefly and interacted with the different aspects of the Hive's ecosystem and I must be honest, there's a lot to love. Hive to me is like a new born (I'm relatively new here as well), like a new born, you just grow to love the baby daily, as he/she grows from a fragile being to an interesting human with a unique personality.
Without further explanations, here are five key things I love about Hive.
1. The Plethora of Dapps
Hive is a Blockchain of limitless possibilities. The only limit to what is available on the Hive Blockchain is one's ability to discover them. While we are all used to the blogging aspect of Hive and may be using actively one or more of these dapps which are already very impressive: Ecency, Hive.blog, or PeakD; there are also numerous dapps that serves other purposes and serve special communities some of which include Leofinance, Liketutu, Inji, 3speak, Actifit, Stem, Splinterlands, etc. We're just spoiled with choices.
2. Hive is innovative
The development of the numerous Dapps on the Hive Blockchain is one evidence of the innovation Hive presents it's users. Still, looking deep, till also notice more. Hive has made huge strides on key management that I've not seen on any other Blockchain based projects. Think of Hive Keychain, especially the mobile app and it's new 2FA, or Hivesigner which seems like a floating safe way to manage your keys, this approaches makes Hive more secure and reliable than it's counterparts. The Hive witnesses are also working daily on innovative solutions for the Hive Blockchain.
3. Generous Community and Users
Hive communities are just unique. In the Hive Blockchain, I've noticed that whales never feel threatened by newbies and are willing to help them grow. This is a very impressive approach that screams generosity.
4. Hive is Easy to Monetize
Having come from traditional social media platforms and having a hard to reaching monetization status, I've to give it to the Hive Blockchain that does well to monetize one's content from the get go. It's honestly difficult to make contents got free and the Hive Blockchain just seem to appreciate one's efforts more than any other platform that promises monetization.
5. Hive is Truly Decentralized
While communities have the responsibilities of moderating it's members, users on the Hive Blockchain are free from any form of censorship and limitations as to what they choose to do in their accounts. There are no algorithms to censor part or whole of ones content or limit it's potentials in some way. So, finally, freedom of speech is a thing, even after democracy is failing in most Nations, democracy prevails on the Hive Blockchain.
