Was the mic recording through the tube? It all sounded good anyway.
I like the high hat jingle and I may have to get one. I was playing Christmas songs at an open mic last night and it would have been good for that.

I only recorded one microphone inside the tube and placed it in front of the drum kit. This added a more distinctive sound that enriched the kick drum and the kit in general.
I enjoy your experiments. It's interesting to see what is possible.
