Wow, doesn't this defeat the purpose of decentralized? if few individuals have such authority, then where is decentralization? I thought in the least, it's people who can downvote to eventually reduce a person's reputation? and that the power is in the community where the community has a say. Am I missing something here?

Lol,
I literally copied names from the Communities, if you think this is Centralized... Then HIVE is Centralized.

And the problem is not that you are being tagged, the problem is that there isn't better organization of posts.

What needs to be done is this, I call it Karma:

A Backend HIVE platform that works as a FrontEnd website like Hive.vote, etc. You log in, and it has a Rich List, and all the Richest Users are there. Then a Karma ranking, maybe tabs for these rankings too.

Most Newest People Helped (algorithm of Time for New Users on Platform, HIVE voted out) then that could be expanded to most contributed and each person could gain from their Curation Trail, giving the Trails rankings basically by having members ranked.

The argument against this is that it hurts the quality of content,
But I would argue that HIVE is fairly low grade, almost 3rd World, along with Steemit and BLURT, so paying people for high participation and funding content from those users while upping their standard of living, will make the platform better. By having wealth among the most active users and not only the most legacy or wealthy users, you raise the ability for the platform to raise the baseline. Which is very low currently.

I think paying someone by just voting is not enough because because if I write a long piece, and someone's writes a short piece then what's fair we need to have mileages where people gets paid for how long their content is and as it gains more engagement the vote becomes higher. Because I can read a content and forget to vote
