We meet again on Friday, with gratitude I also continue to wish all mushroom hunters and lovers in this community continued health. And smooth all business affairs and others.
This Friday is made even more special with the red mushroom challenge. Why?
Because it had been weeks of drought without any rain, even getting any kind of mushroom was very difficult especially the red ones. But deep down I still believe I can get red mushrooms, and sure enough last Wednesday it rained heavily, and the next day I immediately hunted red mushrooms.
This time I chose a location in an oil palm plantation area belonging to my uncle in the countryside. I've been there before, and I've seen some sightings of red fairy mushrooms there. Because of that, after this long dry season and as soon as it rained, I immediately remembered that location.
I was lucky, indeed I found some red mushrooms at that location. Among others are Red fairy cup (Sarcoscypha coccinea), From my experience when hunting mushrooms in the forest, these red cup mushrooms can be found in oil palm plantation areas, and they grow on rotten palm fronds.
And this one is a small fungus that grows on rotten leaves, their size is small but they have their own beauty with the beauty of color and shape. And my guess is maybe this little mushroom belongs to the Marasmius family, but this could also be wrong. :)
And the last one is actually a photo of my mushroom that I have kept for a long time, I don't know what mushroom it is, maybe it's part of the coral mushroom.

Red is courage, something warriors use, to spread their warrior spirit. I like the red mushrooms in pictures 5 to 7 which are like the tip of a gun. A very festive Friday at #fungiFriday 🤗
