FungiFriday - Bird's Nest Fungi & Marasmius elegans

in FungiFriday3 months ago

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

Like other friends, today I have also prepared two interesting types of mushrooms to participate in the 23 February 2024 edition of FungiFriday. The first interesting mushroom is a mushroom known as the "bird's nest fungus" (Nidulariaceae). This refers to the shape of the mushroom which resembles a bird's nest, even when this mushroom starts to fully bloom there are several eggs inside.

Then the second mushroom is a mushroom belonging to the Marasmiaceae family. Or known by the scientific name Marasmius elegans. As the name suggests, this mushroom looks elegant with an umbrella shape like a reddish brown hat.

Birds nest fungi most unusual, once again presenting brilliant photography!

To be totally honest, I must say that the two varieties of ¨Nidulariaceae¨ ¨Marasmius elegans¨ mushrooms that you present to us on this occasion are really beautiful, two different types with their own appeal.
The editions of your photographs are beautiful dear friend @alexa-macro Thank you very much for sharing these shots
Have a happy start to the weekend

some of the mushroom portraits look very beautiful and the one that caught my attention the most was the brown toadstool which looked very cool.
