Gymnopilus Sapineus || FungiFriday

Hello everyone
Today I have the long-awaited surprise again. After experiencing the rain, the fungi grow back on the rotting wood. I was very lucky to be able to shoot in low-light conditions as it was still too early. Right now I don't have time to look for mushrooms in the forest, which are usually easy to find. So, I feel like I missed the opportunity to contribute an article on mushrooms.

Gymnopilus Sapineus is a small mushroom that grows in dense clusters. The Gymnopilus sapineus fungus usually grows on coniferous woods. And the fungus can also grow between compost and manure. I think the Gymnopilus Sapineus Mushroom belongs to the species of the genus Panaeolus. The Gymnopilus Sapineus fungus is sometimes difficult to distinguish from Gymnopilus luteocarneus which grows on conifers.

Initially, this mushroom is yellow and turns a rusty orange color as the spores mature. It looks very nice on the golden yellow lid and underneath it has the usual pattern as with other mushrooms. I have never seen if this mushroom is edible but it is better not to eat it even if the species is not poisonous.

Gymnopilus sapineus is a small species of Gymnopilus found on the wood of conifers. It features a smooth or scaly cap that ranges from yellowish to tawny or reddish brown, a very fragile and quickly lost cortina-like partial veil, a skinny stem that darkens with handling or in age, and spores 6.5-10 µ long.Source

Let's show it and here is my contribution to #fungfriday.This challenge is hosted by @ewkaw.
