Sulphur Tuft small mushrooms pl 4.jpg

Did I skip #FungiFriday last week?
I did :p
Some days just don't have enough hours to fit all we want to (or have to) do. But today I come with a mass pile of little guys to catch up.

I am terrible when it comes to finding mushrooms ID. It could be Sulphur Tuft - it does looks like some of the images in Google. Small hats just a couple of cm in diameter and short legs. I found them in a darker and moister parts of the woods at the bottom of a still living tree.

Reaching up from between the pine needles and little stick, pushing each other "me first! me me me!".

I could spot them from quite a instance among all the dark and wet forest floor.

The bigger ones were occupying the lower part of the tree. A little higher there as still lots of little ones popping from the lush moss. I can imagine how this whole colony would look in few days when they all grow up. Dozens an dozens of little heads :).

And they had some nice little neighbors too. The delicate, grey ghost-like ones. They were everywhere actually so it was hard now to catch them on the photos too.

See the spider?
I only noticed it when I was editing the photos :p

I only notice it hen I was editing the photos

It happens to me too!

Do you happen to plant these mushrooms yourself?🤣 😂

I don't want to say too much, because I know very little about mushrooms, but... For a moment, in the first photo I thought of bread balls... ☺️ But then... I don't know, I don't know... I see something but 😂 I'd better not say it.
The pictures are very good.

Saludos!!!

Those look nice, they remind me of the honey mushrooms I see in my area. The only place I've seen sulfur tufts nearby is in the state of Missouri.

How are you dear friend @ewkaw good night
The two varieties of mushrooms you found are really beautiful, although I must admit that I like the ones that live in communities better. It's amazing how many of them are in one place.
I appreciate you sharing these beautiful photos.
have a beautiful night and a great weekend

pushing each other "me first! me me me!".

they grow so well among some green moss that makes them look even more beautiful, yes spiders are in the slightly black mushroom umbrella

Fascinating! I really liked how you describe the pictures hehe, I really imagined the mushrooms fighting for who was going to go first :D hehe, greetings.

This one appeals to me because it resembles a stack of burger buns. All that remains is to sprinkle sesame seeds on upper side 😁

The first photo seems to attract hivers like bees to honey ha ha ha.
I enjoyed the post, the photos turned out great. Best regards.

The first photo makes me think of donuts! I must be hungry! Better get some snack. 😂

What a tasty looking bunch of fungi! One some of the photos they even seem to be sugar glazed. Overall they make me strongly craving for what we call Pfannkuchen or Berliner 🤤 You could say a kind of Doughnut without the typical hole 😋🤙🏽

"me first! me me me!"

And I thought I am the only one hearing voices...

😂

to perfection and beyond ❤️ Excellent work, from click to composition.

Such a great shot!
