Esta semana nuevamente no he tenido que caminar grandes distancias para dar con estos fascinantes ¨ejemplares¨ : que se desarrollan a partir del ¨estiércol¨ de los animales. Como pueden ver son unas especies preciosas y emocionante de ver, aunque hay que estar siempre atendo para poder visualizarlos, dado que son realmente pequeños
This week, once again, I didn't have to walk far to find these fascinating "specimens": that grow from animal dung. As you can see, they are beautiful and exciting species to observe, although you must always be attentive to spot them, given that they are really small.

Este es otro ¨genero¨ : de ¨hongo¨ muy interesante, son de esos que tienen muchas especies hermosas; me gusta su presentación en general, si bien estos no son muy llamativos, siempre es un verdadero placer dar con ellos. Por tu textura se aprecia a simple vista que no son comestibles, pero tienen otros usos que lo convierten en un hongo muy buscados
This is another "genus": very interesting, they are the kind that have many beautiful species; I like their presentation in general, although these are not very flashy, it is always a real pleasure to find them. Their texture makes it clear at first glance that they are not edible, but they have other uses that make them a highly sought-after mushroom.

De las tres especies de ¨hongos¨ que hemos hallados esta semana, sin dudas estos ¨ejemplares¨ : son los más bonitos; como pueden ver crecen en la superficie de troncos de árboles, estos los hallamos en un tronco de madera blanda de una ¨palmera¨, y algún atributo especial debe tener la corteza de este árbol, ya que siempre que encontramos a estos ¨hongos¨ los hicimos sobre la superficie de este tronco
Of the three species of "mushrooms" that we have found this week, without a doubt these ¨examples¨ : are the most Beautiful; as you can see, they grow on the surface of tree trunks. We found these on a softwood trunk of a palm tree, and the bark of this tree must have some special attribute, since we always found these "fungi" on the surface of this trunk.

Ha sido realmente muy gratificante salir de casa y encontrar estos bellos ejemplares muy cerca de mi hogar. Tal como les vengo comentando, estas últimas semanas han sido muy lluvioso, lo que ha hecho que haya hongos por todos lados. Qué bueno que siempre que salgo de casa lo hago con nuestra ¨camara¨ : estar siempre preparado es vital para ser un buen buscador de ¨hongos¨
It has been truly rewarding to leave the house and find these beautiful specimens so close to home. As I've mentioned, these last few weeks have been very rainy, which has led to mushrooms growing everywhere. It's great that whenever I leave the house I take our ¨camara¨ : Being prepared is vital to being a good mushroom hunter.

No sé cuál sea la razón, pero en mi ciudad mayormente los hongos que encontramos son pequeños, he visto publicaciones de otras parte del mundo que los hongos de allí son realmente enormes
El mundo de los hongos es fascinante, hay de todo tipo y colores, es lo que hace muy atractivo salir en busca de ellos todas las semanas
