Hello friends,
This Friday, instead of food, I will share with you a few photos of edible mushrooms from my area.
Oyster mushrooms
One of the most numerous autumn and winter mushrooms. It is often harvested and used as food. I usually find them next to poplar or willow stumps.
Buttery collybia (Butter cup)
It is also a common mushroom in late autumn. Unfortunately, it was not named after the taste but the color of the cap. It usually grows on lawns individually or sometimes a few mushrooms a little away from each other.
Agaricus bitorquis
This type of mushroom is most often found on the edge of the poplar forest as it emerges from the sand.

The best oysters I've ever had grew out of willow, it seemed to make them taste better with a slightly sweet aftertaste compared to mushrooms on hardwood.
I've noticed that they are paler in color and grow evenly on willow trees. I'm not sure about the taste.
Happy New Year!
I imagined when the mushroom was sautéed, it must have tasted so delicious.
These are the most common edibles here. I'd like to taste other species.
Happy 2022!
🥳
Oh sand mushrooms! I have only found one growing in the dunes around here. Before that I didn't even think mushrooms would grow in sand like that.
And the first bunch is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks! I have found a few species popping out of sand.
Happy 2022!
I wish I could have this prepared so I can dig in and savor the taste and flavor. Beautiful shots. Well done.
I can show you where to pick them. The rest is up to you :).
Happy 2022!
Oh that would be nice. However, we are sharing different countries. Will that count?
