FungiFriday: Agaricus campestris

in FungiFriday2 years ago

Hello friends,

Happy #FungiFriday to all of you.

I have been finding this type of mushroom for several years in the same place, along the edge of the forest, near the pond.

In the spring, it suddenly begins to appear, emerging from the sandy soil. In doing so, it often creates a crater in loose soil. It grows several times until the end of autumn.

Quite amazing how they manage to push though the soil and don't get damaged.
Is there another little one next to the second mushroom?

@tipu curate

Yes there is another smaller one next to it. Usually a couple of them pop out.
