Hello Everyone, today I am back to prepare some beautiful mushrooms that I will be featuring in the #FungiFriday Community hosted by @ewkaw today.
Two days ago, I was wandering around the small forest again and found two species of mushrooms that looked so graceful and charming, and the first one I found was this Neofavolus alveolaris mushroom species. And at that time, I was walking around this small forest and suddenly I came across a rotten and damp piece of wood, and at that time I saw this species of mushroom growing abundantly on the wood and at that time I immediately approached it to see this mushroom species up close.
And without further ado, I immediately grabbed my smartphone camera and macro lens from the small bag I carry everywhere I go. A moment later, I snapped some beautiful and graceful shots, as each mushroom species has its own unique characteristics. I'm back to show you some portraits of mushroom species, which you can see below.
This mushroom species looks at first glance like an ear with a brown color that looks so interesting and unique, and this mushroom has gills that look so eye-catching and at that time I immediately took several different angles of pictures to see the interesting side of this mushroom species, and I hope you like some of the portraits of this mushroom species that I took two days ago.
Neofavolus alveolaris, commonly known as the hexagonal-pored polypore, is a species of fungus in the family Polyporaceae. It causes a white rot of dead hardwoods.....Wikipedia
Then I found another species of mushroom known by another name, Gymnopilus luteofolius. And at that time I saw this mushroom growing abundantly on a pile of rotten and damp wood, and its shape looked so unique with a slightly purplish red color that looked so attractive and bright, and as usual while holding a smartphone camera and macro lens at that time I immediately took some shots of the picture that looked so beautiful and elegant, and you can see below some portraits of this mushroom species and I hope you like it.
Gymnopilus luteofolius, known as the yellow-gilled gymnopilus, is a large and widely distributed mushroom.....Wikipedia

The two species of fungi you found are beautiful, elegant and strikingly coloured, because even though the first one is brown, it is beautiful and strong. Certainly, before reading what you had written, I said to myself... it looks like an ear and is very original and, as you rightly mention, it is elegant. The shapes of fungi always catch my attention because they are authentic, as if waiting to stand out from the rest.
In the case of the second species, I liked it even more because of its pink colour. Well, I saw pink and I loved it because it's my favourite colour. It's simple, uncomplicated but beautiful, and its colour contrasts with the brown and green of the background. They were two ideal species to photograph and bring here. Thank you very much for your work. Best regards.
