Discovery of a Star Mushroom with a perfect shape // Hunting mushrooms in the forest is a very fun thing

in FungiFriday20 hours ago

Good Morning to all my beloved hive friends and all my mushroom lover friends whom I all respect♥️

Two days ago, precisely on Wednesday, I returned to do a very fun activity, which is hunting mushrooms in the forest, this very fun and challenging activity is indeed an activity that has become my routine every week, by hunting mushrooms yourself there are many benefits, including our relationship with nature will become closer, and we can also find some things that we have never seen before, and can add insight and new experiences, but the main purpose of this hunt is to show my talent, namely how I find some beautiful mushroom pictures so that I can immortalize them as well as possible so that I can share them here, yes here in this beloved community, where we can only share some mushroom pictures that we find only on Fridays, it is truly amazing.

Finding mushrooms will be easier when the rainy season arrives, but when the dry season arrives, it will be a challenge to find some beautiful mushroom pictures. One easy way to find mushrooms in the dry season is to enter a forest that has cold and humid weather, because as we already know, mushrooms will grow in areas that have a humid environment. Well, last Wednesday I had the chance to enter the forest area in my village, precisely located under a lush bamboo tree.

This bamboo grows well on the banks of the river and of course under the bamboo trees there must be a cool and humid atmosphere, so I went hunting for this mushroom in the bamboo tree area, and after going around the bamboo area I managed to find one that was very beautiful and unique, namely the star mushroom that grows in the root area of the bamboo tree.

But from what I saw, this star mushroom had not bloomed perfectly, because of my curiosity I started to wander around the bamboo area again because I was sure there must be other star mushrooms growing here. And after wandering around the bamboo tree, I finally managed to find another star mushroom, but this time the star mushroom had bloomed and its shape was very perfect.

This star mushroom itself grows well in the area of bamboo tree roots, and because I could not photograph it directly in the bamboo tree area because it was blocked by several thorny bamboo branches, so I took the mushroom to move it to another place that had enough light for me to take pictures.

A few weeks ago I also managed to find a star mushroom like this, but with an imperfect shape and slightly scratched around the mushroom, and on this occasion I again managed to find a star mushroom with a very perfect shape and size, where the mushroom still looks very smooth. And what is unique about this mushroom is that this mushroom has black smoke in the middle of the mushroom which is located in a lump in the middle of the mushroom, I am sure the black smoke from this mushroom is very dangerous, because the smoke itself has a reddish black color and it is really very dangerous.

After I did the mushroom photo session, I immediately continued my activity, which was mushroom hunting, and after that I returned to the forest area where the palm oil pulp was dumped, because until now I still remember what my grandfather said that there must be many unique mushrooms growing in the palm oil pulp.

Some pictures of mushrooms that I managed to find in the palm oil pulp area.

I myself do not know the name of this mushroom, and what is unique is that this mushroom grows in groups and looks very abundant, and I also very rarely see this mushroom because I only see this mushroom in the rainy season, but on this occasion I again managed to find this mushroom growing abundantly and in groups.

In this palm oil pulp disposal area, it is indeed a place where many mushrooms grow, because I often hunt for mushrooms in palm oil pulp and always get satisfying results, such as some of the mushroom pictures below.

Maybe this is the mushroom that I find most often, and in the palm oil pulp area, this mushroom dominates, because this mushroom grows in groups and has a very large population during the rainy season. I often find this mushroom but I still take pictures of it again because I am very interested in the beauty of this mushroom which has a white stem and a reddish brown umbrella.

And beside the place where this mushroom grows, I also managed to find another mushroom, but I am not sure to say this is a different mushroom, but if you look at the color, this is a different mushroom.

This mushroom which has a pure white color looks very tempting, even though its size is small, the beauty of this mushroom is very visible, for those who like the color white, maybe this mushroom will be the most beautiful, but everyone has different opinions.

This mushroom also thrives in palm oil pulp and this mushroom also grows in groups like some of the previous mushrooms. And after taking pictures at the palm oil pulp dump, I decided to leave this place to look for some other mushrooms elsewhere.

And when I arrived at a garden owned by a local resident, I again found a very beautiful type of mushroom, a mushroom that was pure white in color and had a unique shape.

This mushroom itself grows well on one of the dead tree branches. From my observation, this mushroom might be edible, but I'm not sure lol. This mushroom itself has a soft texture, but it will become hard and brittle when the mushroom is old. So, to be able to photograph this mushroom, it is better to take pictures when the mushroom is still young.
