The best dryad's saddle I ever had was growing out of a willow tree, had a slight bit more sweet taste to it compared to other trees' dryad's saddles.

I enjoyed this one a lot! A fine lunch. And glad to learn that my sweet and sour sauce is way better than any out of a jar or packet. If I had known how easy it is I would have begun making it years ago!
More confirmation needed before I eat these.
Oysters on semi dead ash tree?
Those don't look like oysters to me. The gills don't run down the stem far enough and the stems looks different.
Chicken of the woods?
That is definitely chicken, one of my favorites.
Is turkey tail edible/good?
Only in tea, too woddy to eat. You can powder it and mix with hot cocoa.
