Hello reader, today I would like to share some considerations and suggestions about Farming Tales, an amazing NFT-based game on WAX blockchain.
This article is intended for both developers, staff and farmers.

First of all, all my gratitude goes to all the Farming Tales team, for all the hard work they have done all over the years.
Thanks for enduring and supporting all the complaints, suggestions, criticisms, both positive and negative from the community.
Thanks for the continuous updates both on the UI and UX side.
Thanks for all the events and initiatives you carry out.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to express our ideas and opinions, as with this I feel part of a healthy community.
Above all, thanks for giving us this amazing game which is farming tales.

New Users

In my opinion, the hardest challege to be achived is to attract new farmers. In order to do that, I have few suggestions:

Free-2-Play: we must focus on the positive aspects that FT offers: New Waxchester! NW is a metaverse which has high potential! At the moment we have a minigame like Tractor Race, and that is amazing, but why people needs to pay in order to compete with others? I think that everyone should be able to join NW, even without a WAX Wallet, in order to play Tractor Race or other minigames! But how can we attract new players? There could be free competitions, based on Best Time, number of races, number of wins, etc.
Another idea concerning this topic is the concept of "Worker". For example, if I own a Legendary Building (such as greenhouse, corn field, lumberjack, etc), a worker can decide to join one of those building and get paid in aureus/sest (there will be a pool and depending on some paramiters or NFTs owned, you will get a share). The owner will be rewarded depending on the amount of workers or something else to be decided/discussed.
Advertising: I'm not a marketing expert, but I think that FT needs to invest resources in adverts. Maybe, after adding tip.cc bot into the discord server, you can talk with their staff and advert FT into their main discord.

More SEST usecases

At the moment, SEST price is going down because it is too related at the secondary market, which is currently not so busy. This means that huge investors are selling SEST. We need a solution for that: more usecases!

Raffle: give us the possibility to buy raffle tickets with SEST. You can add FT nfts as prizes. There will be hourly, daily, weekly raffle to partecipate. This system will possibly increase SEST value and utility.
Worker: hire workers with SEST! I mean, we can discuss about that, but the idea is to pay SEST + EXP to upgrade legendary building in order to hire even more workers.

Market

I specify that I am not sure if this suggestion can be implemented, however I will try to be as clear as possible. My idea of the Market is related to bartering.
A platform that allows you to exchange products. Each farmer will be able to add an offer (e.g. 1 Wood Chest <-> 1 Tomato Chest).
To do this you will pay a fee in AUREUS or SEST upon completion of the exchange.
Concerning Trade channel on discord, I suggest to introduce a standard format for all the offers and the limit of 1 message per day.

Product prices

I think that the price of a product should change depending on the current circulating amount. With this improvements you can take under control the inflaction.

"Useless" NFTs

A suggest reguarding "useless" NFTs is to create an NFT Pool on waxdao managed by FT team. This will give you time to develop more usecases for those NFTs.

Real-life Products

Before buying any real-life product, I wish to see it. I suggest to improve the whitepaper part concerning that topic. The main problem is related to shipment, I guess. For this reason, my suggest is to give the possibility to choose between:

donate the product and get paid in WAX/SEST
shipment

This solution is temporary, until we find a solution on this.
Another improvement will be a weekly, monthly update, through an Hive Post, concerning the current status of real products.

Conclusion

Farming Tales is a huge metaverse with high potential, for this reason I hope as many people as possible get to know about this project.
