Hi all,
My last post was 7 days ago when I gave them their first dose of potassium silicate and the results were almost instantaneous! They shot up the next day!
Today, when the lights came on I gave them some light nutrition and by the time the lights turned off (just now) they have responded well yet again!
I decided to give the stems a light squeeze, just hard enough so I felt them crack, I'll try to do this a few times a week. My fingers smell fantastic! 🤣
I will need to take them out of the tray really soon as the leaves are starting to block each other, I will check the root status after Christmas and hopefully repot in to the larger containers.
I have sort of resolved the heat (cold) issue, my heater was cutting out when trying to run full power, I've set it to medium and it is staying on, the room is still a little cooler than I would like but nowhere near as bad as before 👍
I'm still running on the MH bulb though I feel confident that I could switch to the HPS which I think would bring the room temperature up to where I want.
I think they'll need a few more weeks in veg, honestly I really wish I'd given them nutes sooner and resolved the heat issue, could have switched to flower by now. They're healthy though which is what is important!
