I see no real point in training them; There is enough airflow as it is and the sun's shining from the side anyways, wandering a good 90 degrees around it for 6-8 hours. Even the lower fan leaves seem to get good light, still.
I feel like they could be much taller, had I transplanted them quicker (or started in a big pot) - also their first 2 weeks they were on a west-balcony, with 3-4 hours of sun, only.
Super Cropping is a great way to train autos. But only if you fell comfortable doing it.
I am occasionally bending and twisting the photo plant.
That was introduced to me as 'hyper-cropping' like 20 years ago 🤣
I never realized, the stem was supposed to stay bent over... I was aiming to produce a callus.
...anyways, it seems to make the stem sturdier and seems to promote thicker growth...
I try to avoid stressing the autos, though...
All 3 plants get blasted by heavy winds from time to time - the balcony is quite high up.
Sounds like you got a good grasp on IPM.
Thanks!
I grow all sorts of stuff. For a long time.
Legal Cannabis is kinda new, but I did extensive research.
