Today, I can confidently say, that it did work out well.
The first (albeit small) harvest is done and secure. No signs of mould.

I'm gonna wait a lot longer. Probably sometime in October for me.

Same with my photoperiodic plant.
It's only starting to flower now. Takes at least 4 weeks more, probably much longer.
