Hello Hiveans, welcome back yo my blog. It's the 22nd day of the inleo daily prompt, and the topic for today is something that has to do with everyone in today's world.

How do you ensure digital wellness in your life.

Maintaining digital well is very vital in today's world where we are surrounded by digital elements in our offices, homes, churches etc. Digital wellness has to do with our mental, emotional and physical health in relation to digital devices.

With the prevailing digital dependence, there is need to our health in check, how can we do this if we do not know what we want to do, so I'll be sharing some practices that i observe and indulge in to protect yourself 7frselvf and also ensure some level of digital wellness.

Screen Time Regulation
Ensuring that you regulate the amount of time you spend on your screen is very crucial. It's a known fact that presently, we can't entirely do without our digital devices as most of our activities are dependent on them, but what we can do is to regulate the amount of time we spend on our screens. I think there are Apps that can actually help us achieve this, set limits for yourself, limits above which you wouldn't go for social media, some non-essential activities and even entertainment.

There was a particular time when I began feeling a certain kind of strain in my eyes, it felt like my eyes we're tired, and I immediately knew it was because of my long hours of exposure to my phone and laptop, I had to find a way to go around and reduce the time I spent on the screen for unimportant things. So we all should try as much as possible to regulate our screen time.

Taking Regular Breaks
There's this 20-20-20 rule that says for every 20 minutes spent on the screen, take a 20 seconds break and then look at something 20 feet away. Observing this rule on a regular basis helps reduce strain on the eyes caused by constant exposure to digital rays, this also another means through which we can ensure digital wellness.

Use of Ergonomics
This has to do with ensuring that work stations or areas are ergonomically friendly to help prevent strain injuries. Ensuring you use adjustable seats, maintaining good posture and also making sure that screens are kept at eye level to reduce incessant bending.

Maintaining Online Etiquette
Maintaining and practicing kindness in different online and digital spaces, should be our priority in other ti create a safe space for others we should also be weary of engaging in negative banters on the internet and other online and internet space

In conclusion, ensuring digital wellness is not a one sided something, but a wholistic one, it encompasses both the physical aspects, behavioural aspect and the emotional aspect. Digital wellness isn't a destination, but a process, a lifestyle that is to be upheld.

For us to harness the digital age in good health, we must consciously take into consideration some of the above listed practices, as they are highly important to us.
