I attended the Fintech Connect Conference on Dec. 2-3, 2025, at Custom House in London, which was an incredible experience. This conference brought together the best elements of innovation, technology, and community, and the effects of attending will be felt for a very long time.
It was the wonderful presence of many Hive community members that added such an exceptional layer to the overall experience; their energy, warmth, and support created an experience unlike any other.
Day 1 – Telling the WellsForAll Story
On the first day of the conference I had the honour of representing Hive and speaking about @wellsforall, which is a movement that uses the blockchain to provide clean drinking water to rural communities in Ghana.
The audience's attention told its own story. They seemed curious, excited and genuinely interested in the WellsForAll story of how boreholes funded transparently through the Hive blockchain and how these are making a difference in people's lives. Once again, the reaction reinforced the importance of using technology to create positive social impact.
Day 2 – Learning from the Best
Day two was incredibly inspiring. @alessandrawhite took the stage and demonstrated the true power and potential of the Hive blockchain.
Even though I've been involved with Hive since 2017, I still learnt so much new information that I didn't know. I found every second of her presentation insightful, informative and inspirational. She showed, in a clear and powerful manner, how Hive remains one of the leading Web3 platforms.
A Family Moment
It was also great to spend time connecting with my Hive family, sharing experiences, laughing and being part of the larger Hive ecosystem while displaying our unity, pride and beauty. The presence of @collinz, @steevc, @lordbutterfly and @adetorrent has always been exciting.
Thank you to everyone who helped support us in introducing Hive to the world at this event. It was your encouragement and presence that made all the difference.
