Yesterday (saturday 18th june) I had the plesure of going to the UK hive meet in halifax hosted by our very own coffee wizard @c0ff33a
I was joined by my father who is @unkidrik on hive
Unfortunately I didnt think to stop and take some picture so I dont personally have much to show.
I had a great chat with various hivers about running witnesses and the inner workings of hive, explaining things to the best of my knowledge.
I'm quite pleased with myself that I managed to be rather talkative given how unsocial I can be.
Ofcourse the coffee was fantastic and the food very nice, i devoured quite a few porkpies and sausage rolls.
I hope to be able to go to the next one when ever that happens until then I'll just continue to do my thing here on hive.
I hope to meet you some time, but I just couldn't get to this event. I hope my mate @slobberchops was behaving himself. He could have dragged you all off to explore some old brothel/crack den, as that is what he does for fun.
I will add your dad for the next #BritList even if he is not active on Hive. He counts anyway.

It was great meeting you yesterday @shmoogleosukami even though we didn't get round to chat much. Hubby enjoyed his techie chat so thank you for keeping him entertained.
Always amazing to meet up with you and your father, we have that unique deep tech interest bond and I could have spent all discussing Hive and HF26 which you know so much more about then me - plus gaming and set ups I love your monster rig would have loved to spend more time chatting about gaming hardware too - but it was a busy day and keeping everyone caffeinated and happy left me little time to socialise. Thank you both for coming, I do hope you enjoyed the time and munchies!
It was great to see you again, and you arrived with perfect timing when I had got locked outside! Glad you had a good day, I know people really enjoyed the techie talk 😍.
