Turned out great! I absolutely need to study Maguire more, particularly for his skill at facial expressions and comedy! I’ve been doing more artist studies recently too. I think watching David Finch do them on his YouTube channel really rekindled the interest. Seeing an accomplished professional copying his peers to learn from them really brings home the validity of the method. It’s also nice for dealing with “artist’s block” as you can just sit down and get to work drawing!

Thanks man. Absolutely nothing wrong with copying more advanced artists in the hope of picking up a new trick or two. Next is Maguire faces, then Quitely's treatment of fabric and clothing I reckon
