Making a baby dress

in Faces of Hive4 years ago

little girls love to feel like princess in what they wear. The best style that fits baby girls is a dress, regardless of the fabric and all, as long as you get the color combination right and it makes them look like a princess, it's a check. Lace and plain fabrics have been my favorite when designing for kids, then I am a fan of the African print fabric aswell. You can't get the color wrong when making a dress, because it puts them in the spot light at first glance.
I made some baby dress with lace fabric, Africa print fabric and satin. They came out lovely.
Kudos to the fashion designers that specializes in children's wear, you all are amazing.
Sometimes we have to make dresses without taking their measurements and it just can't come out wrong.
I'm going to be sharing few of the dresses, the process and finishing.

Materials:
Africa print fabric, satin, lace, zipper, interfacing, appliques, glue, matching thread.
