So I was absolutely blessed with the opportunity to go to #Hivefest 10 in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia for the first time ever to meet so many Hiveans that I have been online with, communicating, interacting and making friends with for the past 5 years, aswell as meet so many other wonderful people, but for me, meeting and making friends with new people didn't stop there.
I was honoured to meet a few other people at the Hivefest- actually some not even at the Hivefest!
I even met and onboarded new friends in other places, such as the bar under the Rexl Theatre where we had the first days presentations.
And then this beautiful human being by the name of Juliana- @goldsanctuary from Braszil that I met on my flight from KL to Bali before connecting to Australia and tonight, from Hive without borders, me sitting on the balcony over looking the green rainforest and paddocks of the Atherton Tableslands in Far North QLD, Australia, [//]:# (!worldmappin -17.54155 lat 145.51562 long d3scr) and her walking the rice paddies in Ubud, Bali, we connected via Whatsapp to onboard her via the CheckinWith app that @starkerz and his team built on the #HiveKeychain extension by @stoodkev, so this just proves that onboarding new members into the Hive community does just have to happen in person (though it is great to have that selfie together...) but can happen regardless of where in the world the 2 parties are.

I remember at the #chainculture event, I was talking to someone and was just so happy to be there, as I was talking to them they were questioning me about being on Hive and I remember them saying that they could see in my eyes and hear in my voice the love and passion that I have for Hive and our fabulous global community that they wanted to be apart of that too.
