When I first heard the word power up I didn't get to understand so I decided to make more research about it to see how it benefits me and hive space.
Then I will always see @intishar thread about his daily power up and how he even sets alarm on daily basis so as not to forget powering up that make me become more curious and I digged deeper.
I joined him and started powering up while I make more research about powering up.
My findings about power up
The first and most interesting thing I found out was how power up can help me to show appreciation for quality contents, the more I power up, the more my stake grows, the more I will have to curate quality contents and I will also earn what is known as curation rewards and the weight of my hive power determines the weight of vote I will give to any content.
If the #curator's didn't power up hives there will be nothing like curation.
And at some point in the future when my power gets huge I will have a great impact on the witness voting.
Secondly I found out that powering up gives me the opportunity to use my freedom, my ownership any how I want but for a better future for hive space.
From my few conversation with @intishar I come to realize that powering up is a very good financial decision with great benefits and value.
Powering up is a way to grow financially and achieve financial goals and it will allow me to grow my resource credit, and its a proof of my commitment to hive community, it shows how serious and determined I am in growing the system.
I also found out that powering up is a long term investment and that's a very good idea to me.
So immediately I started powering up my savings.
I started by swapping my hbd to hive then I go ahead and power up the amount of hive I want to power up.
The beauty is that you can do it at your own pace and convenient time.
Lately I stumbled on @fokusnow post on the #journeyofahivean which includes building stake by powering up and I decided to continue what I have already started that gives me joy.
I saw the need to set a goal of how many HP I have staked before the end of the year, then start by screenshots my current HP then follow up with strategies that will help me reach my goal at the end of 2025 and honestly that would help anyone interested to follow up religiously because there is a target.
I participated last week Sunday and will continue powering up more
After this post I will have to an do some personal rethink of how many HP I will have before 2025 comes to an end and tips that will help me to achieve that.
But first I will love to start by setting this post 100% power up and let's see what happens next.
Hive is a different and exceptional space and anyone who wants to grow financially and knowledge wise must be determined and consistent in all aspects of hive and that includes power up.
Let's all walk on this journey of a successful hivean by daily power up if possible.

I think from my understanding and what i read power up is a good idea, but I am still a bit confused, I think I will have to visit @fokusnow at happy customer supermarket, so he can direct me on powering up
