Greetings, the talented members of the Hive Community. I am Ukemeobong Isidore (Yhukhay-Isidore). A visual artist, storyteller, and creative explorer who has pursued interests in painting and drawing, as well as tie and dye as a specialized field, over the years.
For me, art has never been solely about colors or strokes; it is about transformation, emotion, and connection. Each piece I produce is a reflection of the untold stories, culture, identity, and the commonplace beauty that envelops us. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Industrial Arts (Textiles) from the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom state.
It is imperative for me to investigate the interfaces that establish connections between various human experiences through the lens of perception. With a desire to bring creativity to life, I expertly produce appealing visuals and inspire people with inventive recycled art pieces, displaying my dedication.
My path as an artist began with curiosity and a desire to create. It has evolved into a strong desire to convey oneself without using words. I am inspired by the world around me: people, emotions, traditions, and moments that are often overlooked.
Whether I'm experimenting with textures, studying African motifs, or combining ancient and modern techniques, I consider my art as a link between the past, present, and what's possible. Aside from producing, I'm enthusiastic about empowering others via art by teaching, collaborating, and sharing methods that help others find their own creative voice.
There's something genuinely rewarding about witnessing people connect with their inner artist and express themselves in ways that words cannot always do. Outside of the studio, I'm constantly learning, exploring new art forms, researching creative trends, and immersing myself in environments where art meets technology.
This interest recently led me to Hive, a community that fosters creativity, innovation, and connection simultaneously. I am from Akwa Ibom state and married with kids. I'm grateful to my friend, @pascalukandy for introducing me to this vibrant creative area, and @ijelady who onboarded me here on Hive. Thanks to them, I discovered a platform where creative minds may share, improve, and even earn from their skill. As I embark on this adventure, I'm excited to learn, unlearn, and grow ; to be inspired by other creatives and to contribute to a global network of dreamers, doers, and visionaries. Let us connect, create, and appreciate the beauty of expression together. Because no creative creates alone; we all thrive in community. So, I'd love to hear your advice for beginners. Please keep them coming.

Wow I loved your creativity, you are a woman with great artistic talent! I really like African art, what strikes me most is the joy conveyed by the colours and motifs.
