Happy day friends welcome to my blog, today I will be sharing with you how pre-writing skill help children write number and letter easily without confusing them, it actually makes the work simple and faster for the parent and teacher.
The boy who loves writing
There is this boy who is very passionate in writing but doesn't know how to write properly he sometimes write number 2 and calls it number 1, he always brings it to me each time he finish writing and I will correct him so today I decided to create time to teach him using the pre writing skill, I knew that if I use this method in teaching him how to write his number work and letter work it will make writing a thing of fun for him.
we get to work
we started with few poem and then move on to counting and identification of number, sounding of alphabet and finally taught him with my hand guiding his hand to write number one 1 using the pre-writing skill which is "a stroke down" and two was written as "half a circle and a stroke across" and then asked him to write by himself in which he did, writing 1 was easy for him but two was not fine enough so we stopped at number two in number work and move to letter work which i taught him how to write "a" which pre writing skill was half a moon and a stroke down, it was not stressful because the child was willing to learn and repeating the process everyday will help him write without mistaking number 2 for number 1, he had a great time learning.
Incredibly, and awesome, he must be like mother who loves writing and reading too

Great work dear
You know a lot of people fail to understand that pre writing skills for these ages is very vital in their mental development and writing speed.
You'll see a child of 3 years being able to write very well even holding of pencil but a child of 5 years is still struggling with some letters and numbers.
Our schools needs to look into these principles squarely not just reciting of poems and rhymes for our young kids
