Another amazing day on Hive Marketing, it's always a thing of Joy speaking about Hive to different categories of people in different places. This week, we chose to meet with teachers in different schools both public and private, because we believe they will be interested in Hive, and we were not far from the truth.
It was a rainy day but that didn't stop us from going to tell people about Hive.
Preparation and presentation.
The agreed time was 1:30 pm, and we needed to be at the school before 1:30. I reached out to @iquo, and we fixed where we would meet.
I branded myself with a Hive t-shirt and a Hive bangle for easy recognition.
I practised what to say to get the teacher's attention and how much time I would speak so as not to cause issues since it was still working hours.
I left my house by 1:00pm to meet with @iquo and we both went to the College.
The teachers were having a meeting with the principal on our arrival so we alerted them that we were around, while we sat at the reception waiting.
We were called a few minutes later, and the teachers were in a hurry because they had a lot to do, but the principal instructed them to pay attention to us for a few minutes.
After introducing myself officially, I appreciated them for giving us the audience, then I moved to business proper.
On the mention of Hive and content, some of the teachers left because they weren't interested, while others who were interested listened attentively.
In my presentation I made it clear to them that Hive is not a get-rich-quick scheme, I mentioned the importance of consistency and how they can benefit from Hive.
Mrs Ife asked series of questions because she is interested, she even mentioned and showed us how she wastes her data on web 2 platforms like Facebook and others.
She wanted to know if Hive pay for referrals, the type of content that is acceptable, how to gain more followers and the benefits of having more followers.
And I answered all her questions, so she was convinced. We showed examples of the type of content expected, which includes showing her cooking skills.
Other interested teachers asked lots of questions, so many questions took a lot of time and they needed to go back to their students.
We have to book another appointment for Friday, Friday will be a day of onboarding and training them on how to create short content and how to spend hbd in the listed business around the area.
It was a long day and a well-filled day as well, we are on the lookout to see how we can bring in more people who will be consistent and add more value to Hive.
We still have more days to go, and we will also visit other schools to tell them about Hive and #spendhbd project.
