Introductory post about myself
Writing is the right platform to express yourself and I also want to believe that writing is also about expressing how one feels about life experiences and the lessons learned .I derive so much joy in writing about my experiences in life and sharing it with others so they can learn from my experience ,draw their own conclusion and make their own decision
I will like to take you through the journey of myself and what I do, hop in and enjoy the ride with me as I introduce myself
My name is Rita I am a seasoned teacher who is passionate,dedicated, compassionate,and determined about teaching and impacting knowledge in children, nurturing them from being nothing to somebody ,guiding them during this phase of their life gives joy and lasting satisfaction.
I grew up in a family of nine, growing up was not easy my parents struggled to make ends meet with limited income.coming from a low background,live was a hell of a struggle from my primary to higher institution,this experience thought me the lesson of contentment,hardwork,self reliant,resilience and patience.
With the struggle I was able to achieve my dreams and aspirations in life to become a seasoned teacher,a goal getter,a home maker and a dream builder, helping thousands of children to become relevant in the society through timeless lectures, correction,class activity and practical works.basically pushing all odds,breaking all barriers to achieve all these goals
More so I am also a specialist in literacy and communication where I help children who are struggling with reading to become champion in reading using the right pedagogy. I consider it a privilege to be part of this amazing journey and I strongly believe that the creator and giver of children will bless and crown my effort as I play my role in nurturing these beautiful gift from him.i have come across children who find reading so challenging even though they are in higher classes,this has affected their academic performance In a long run as a result of not being able to read ,that is why I created this program to meet the need of these children in order to bridge the gap.through this program,I have helped hundred of struggling children out of this learning deficiency
The goal of helping more children has been my drive towards ensuring children get qualitative education and not just education, bridging the gap between the the privileged and the less privileged in the society
Million of children are out of school and it is a cause for concern and I wish to have a platform whereby I will be able to help children who are out of school to return back to the classroom and continue learning and building their dreams.the more children are returned to the classroom,the better the society
Apart from being a seasoned teacher, I am also a makeup artist who enjoys making pretty ladies prettier and beautiful ladies more beautiful,the work of enhancing beauty is something I love and would like to do over and over again.it gladens my heart when I see that transformation from being that pretty lady to an extraordinary pretty lady couple with that contagious smile from a satisfied client who just looked at herself and shouts wow.
The best thing that has happened and keeps happening to me is putting smiles on peoples faces both as a teacher and also as makeup artist.i wish to continue to do this as long as I live,long live the teaching profession,long live the teachers and long live the society.i wish to build a community where I can encourage people to build on their dreams
