Journey of a Hivean Task two - Setting up my profile

Hello hive family, I'm glad to be back, i have already completed my first task which is 'Try It Out' and it is about how to create a short content.

The next important step is How to set up your profile , setting up your profile is very important because it helps other users to easily identify who you are which can enhance engagement and another important aspect is that it makes your account looks more professional .

Here's a step by step guide on how i did mine

1. How to set your profile picture

I logged into the ecency website on my phone browser, where i was welcomed

Then I clicked on the login button to log into my hive account

Then I logged on my username

After logging in, i clicked on the profile icon

I clicked on settings

The next step, i clicked on the upload button for profile image

After clicking the button for profile image the picture on my gallery opened, then i ensured that the image i want to use is on my phone, which i selected the image that i wanted to use and then i uploaded it.

After the profile picture has been uploaded, i clicked on update button

After updating, the image i uploaded appeared at the top where my profile icon is placed

2 How to set your Banner Picture

Setting the banner picture was easier because it is the same step as uploading my profile picture, but this am not working on the profile picture rather the cover image.

Click on the profile icon

I Clickedon settings

I Clicked on the upload button for cover image

Then i selected the image that i want to upload

I clicked on the update button

I ensured that my cover image appeared on my blog by refreshing it

3 How to add a URL

I added the URL to my profile blog

I clicked on the profile icon

I clicked on settings

I pasted the URL in the place allocated for the website

I clicked on the update button

1. How to add a description about you or your blog

I followed the previous steps in adding a description about myself and my blog, so it is the same step.

I clicked on the profile icon

I clicked on settings

I described my personality in the About section

Then i clicked on the update button after describing myself in the About section

I refreshed the site inorder for what i typed in the About Section to appear at the top

In Conclusion

Setting up my profile on Hive is a simple but important step,
Which helps me to create a good first impressions , and allow others to know more about me, enhancing good engagement, and makes my account looks more professional and complete.
And also standout and connect better with the Hive community.
