I am delighted to announce the launch of a brand new community - Hive Growth Hub (HGH). The community kicks off today being the 1st day of September 2025. Basically, we want to be the home of everyone and every effort that adds value to the entire Hive ecosystem. We love the Hive blockchain. As a project and community, we are 100% bent into any positive initiative that would make hive the most valued lockchain in the Web3 universe.
4 Core building blocks of HGH
Web3 projects here on Hive and elsewhere often have their main building blocks. These help the project to drive towards achieving their vision. Hive Growth Hub has identified 4 significant fundamentals. These principles were developed off what the Hive community often portray as proper behaviour and strategies that add value. Our 4 core building blocks are Networking, Onboarding, Staking and Engagement (NOSE). Lets go into each a little.
- Networking: HGH as a project would rely on the efforts and inputs of users that buy into our vision. By establishing valuable connections and collaborations with participants, we are able to stage a united front, a close-knit group of Hive users that share a common vision. Through networking, we would leverage the resources, connections and contributions of all participants in this project.
We have already started building valuable relationships within the friends and Hive users in our city and country. One of the things we do regularly for some time now is physical meetups. The images below are from our last meetup which was held on 31st August 2025. These regular physical gatherings helps users to make new friends and see the faces behind each inspiring content on Hive.
We would hold more meetups, and other smaller gatherings before the end of each month. Our goal would be to share success secrets on Hive, motivate active participation, discover new opportunities and enable an environment where everyone feels valued. We would also encourage our friends to work in smaller teams and use Hive as a freedom tool to solve grassroot challenges in the society.
Eventually, we would grow into a strong and powerful unit whose network effect would bring huge benefits to the Hive ecosystem. We are community-driven, and networking is going to be the main driver of positive efforts across the project.
- Onboarding: Hive as a social Blockchain need users. The more valuable contributors there are, the bigger our blockchain. As the main facilitator of this project, getting new users to join us to grow the network is important. But then, onboarding in web3 is a community responsibility. So in HGH, we would make everyone see that they have an inner circle that could be drawn to Hive.
We are going to get involved in different outreach efforts to spread the word about Hive. Our goal would be to reach out to everyone in person, online and elsewhere to bring them to Hive. Through the SpendHBD project, I have been able to onboard many valuable contributors who would in turn refer others to us. Onboarding is the best way to grow and HGH would be taking it as serious business.
Still on onboarding, I have already made plans to utilize the #journeyofahivean resources created by 3Speaktv. The learn to Earn courses make it easy for newbies to learn about Hive while getting rewarded for competing each course. I just made a banner below where newbies could take photographs inside Happy Customer Supermarket. Their Hive journey would often start from a simple shopping trip in our web3 grocery store.
- Staking: It is long believed and rightly so, that staking Hive adds value to the ecosystem. Little wonder that the platform hold periodic reward initiatives that encourage staking Hive like Hive Power Up Day. So, Everyone that believes in this project would be incentivized to hold, and increase their Hive stake. Interestingly, I started this account by staking 3000 Hive and is yet to unstake even once. If we could get more people to hold bigger Hive stakes, then it's real value to the ecosystem.
We have already started off by participating in Hive Power Up day as group. I also stake at least 3 Hive per day in Happy Customer Supermarket account. As we onboard new customers through groceries shopping, we teach them the importance of staking Hive and holding out for as long as possible. And guess the subject of our last meetup? How to achieve 1m HP as a group. Below is our group participation in August and September HPUD.

We will always be part of a group that believe in the long-term survival of Hive. Hence, staking Hive and growing our influence would be a prized asset in this community.
- Engagement: We have adopted the broader definition of engagement in web3 which carries the thought of active, meaningful participation in the ecosystem. It's not just about interacting with content on Hive, but making good use of all the freedom tools on Hive. Through engagement, we expect our friends to get involved in decision-making on Hive, use Hive tools and get involved in other economic activity.
I have started by helping my friends learn how to use distriator app to spend HBD and claim discounts. Many have learn about micro-blogging on Ecency waves and wallet transactions in Hive Keychain. We will do more from these humble beginnings. Eventually, our users would be able to vote proposals on hive and get involved in other social activities like interacting with diverse content across communities.
Engagement would be key to our success. The more users engage with projects, tools and communities on Hive, the more value they are able to create.
Who is behind this community
Hive Growth Hub is an idea by me, but with huge backing and support of all the friends in Aba city and Happy Customer Supermarket. We have been deliberating all all the building blocks mentioned above and we took the final decision to run a community at our last meetup on 31st August 2025. This the community is owned by all.
What type of content is allowed
All offline or online activity that brings value to Hive is accepted here. The content needs to reflect some or all of the building blocks mentioned above. Example of the content here includes but is not limited to:
- Your efforts to onboard a friend and any reasonable progress your new recruit has made.
- Milestones achieved by your onboarded friends like completing learn to earn courses.
- Reports of meetup or other Hive networking events attended.
- Progress of your Hive staking/power up strategies.
- Hive promotional activities that yielded good results like onboarding a new friend.
- Grassroot impact projects powered by Hive.
- Hive branding efforts that help create public awareness such as Hive billboards, etc
- Any other personal or group activity that adds value to the Hive ecosystem.
Any rules
All general rules on Hive as regards content ownership and originality. All content must be original and any external content owned by a third party have to be properly referenced. No use of AI.

Our main curation tag is #hgh. Other tags for more visibility includes #hive, #hivegrowth, etc. We will update other tags if we necessary.
Finally
We hope the entire Hive ecosystem buys into this community ideals, it's vision of a more powerful Hive and value creation. We the power of a community of like-minded active contributors, Hive could be all that we dream of soonest!!!
