The D-day is finally here and I'm so excited. ๐
If you've been following up with my posts for some days now or you've gotten a tag, you'd understand the reason behind the excitement. But if you've not, I'll spill the beans. Lol.
So I've been all about the campaign for the November #hivepowerupday challenge which was put together by @hivecreatorsday.
The idea of the challenge is to surpass the 951 users mark participation.
I believe this is a very simple feat to achieve, not when we have thousands of active users here.
And the icing on challenge - not cake this time around, is that it comes with a huge reward and everyone who participated is eligible, only if you head over to this post to show proof of participation. Don't forget to read the rule of participation.
There you have it. I hope you're game, because I am. Who doesn't like freebies. ๐
Now the good thing about this November #hpud is that not only are you increasing your stake on the blockchain, you'd also get rewarded for doing so - that's if you unlock the lucky charm. Lol. I hope you won't miss it for anything.
Why Participate In Hive Power Up Day?
Basically, #hpud - every 1st of the month, is a special day on the Hive blockchain where users are to participate by powering up at least 10 Hive.
By powering up, you're helping to support the Hive ecosystem to grow. Just the other day, there was a tweet on X about Hive surpassing 4B transactions. It's a great milestone to achieve, and each and every one of us here contributed to it.

Going further, your Hive power (HP) is your stake, power and level of influence in the blockchain. More HP means more power to support the works of other content creators by way of curation. And you know you'd equally earn curator's reward for doing so.
Not only that, you can support communities or viable projects on Hive by delegating your HP to them, especially for users who may not have the time to curate always. You'd also be earning delegator's reward too. Alternatively, you can join curation trail
Again, by participating in the #hpud, and powering up at least 10 Hive, you stand a chance of winning huge HP delegation from, either from a community or a user who's sponsoring the #hpud delegation. With the delegation, you'd gain more power to curate contents and earn more curator's rewards. I haven't been lucky to win one but I'm still hopeful about grabbing one some day. ๐
The last but not the least is that you'd be getting the HPUD badge from Hivebuzz. I love seeing the array of the colorful badges on my Hivebuzz page.
Having said that, here's how I powered up
The previous month, I staked 20 Hive but with the challenge, I decided to step up this month and staked 30 Hive.

So far so good. I'm gradually getting closer to achieving my 2025 Hive goal of 5K HP. With just 2 months left, I don't know what to expect, but I'm very much optimistic about the possibility of raking it in.
Throwback To February 2025 Power Up
In fact, I'm particularly impressed by my HP growth this year. I took a dive back to February power up and I had about 2,908 HP. 8 months down the line and I'm at 4,606 HP. Isn't this amazing?
This is the reward of commitment and consistency.
