I was finally in Istanbul, it was a place I want to know for two reasons, all its history and the respectful way they treat cats, it is something I would like to see more in the streets of my country, so I wanted to see up close everything I had read in so many articles.
It was wonderful to see that mix of modernity, history and cats everywhere well fed, cared and respected, I decided to visit a market full of crafts and antiques, I had to bring a nice souvenir home that along with the photos, remind me of this nice visit, so after touring that fascinating market I found something perfect a jar, but this jar was not common had the shape of a cat and looked old, so I did not hesitate to buy it.
When I returned home I unpacked and put the jar that had been so carefully packed, I opened it and to my surprise smoke began to come out, first I was scared, I thought it was something toxic or drug that was inside, you never know what kind of trouble you can get into, but I was paralyzed to see that the smoke began to take human form and became a man.
When I saw him standing in front of me, I could do nothing but sit on the couch without being able to pronounce a word, and even more after hearing clearly when he said: "I am happy to see you beautiful lady, I am the genie of this jar:
-I am happy to see you beautiful lady, I am the genie of this jar, I am here to grant you only one wish, but they can be only wishes that are related to coffee, since I am a coffee genie.
For a while I could not pronounce a word, I could only see that genie whose appearance had nothing to do with the ones described in the movies, first he was not dark skinned, he was very white, with blue eyes, second he did not wear a typical or old suit with a hat, he wore modern clothes, tennis shoes and third he was extraordinarily handsome, but he did wear chains on his wrists, symbol of slavery and while I was still trying to get out of my astonishment, the genie who introduced himself as Yusuf used his powers to prepare coffee and drink it.
The smell of this coffee was extraordinary and it was what made me react, so after drinking a cup of coffee that he offered me and being fascinated with its flavor, the genie told me that he had been in the jar for 500 years and that he only needed to fulfill one more wish to be free and again he emphasized that this wish could only be related to coffee.
While I was trying to decide what to choose, days went by and during those days the genie told me about all his experiences how he became a genie and how lonely he felt when he was locked in the jar, he could see what was happening outside, but he was alone with no one to talk to or share, without realizing it, I had become attached to the genie, I was so distracted between liking the genie and the dilemma that Yusuf deserved to be free, that I had not realized that he was also attracted to me.
One morning, as I struggled to do right and wrong, I decided that I would make my wish that this genie could be free and as I headed to the kitchen for my last breakfast with this genie, I found to my surprise that Yusuf was waiting for me with a bouquet of flowers and declared his love for me and that he wished to stay by my side forever, I could not believe my love was reciprocated.
There I made my wish without hesitation.
-I wished that I would never lack in my house the coffee grind that I love so much.
Ali I saw how my beloved Yusuf was freed from his chains, but before love he was allowed to keep his powers, so we got married and now we have a nice family, two beautiful children, a nice cat and coffee is never missing at our table.

Falling in love with a genie and finally getting married and having children, I really didn't see that one coming.

Hello Bella. Definitely, Istanbul is a wonderful city to find some history, mystery and cats, but I never thought that someone could find love inside a bottle and even less with such a different genie. Great creativity and funny story, I loved reading it.

This is so beautiful, it reminds me of this book by Gena Showalter, though I don't quite remember the name. Nice you fell in love with this gorgeous genie and that you freed him from his wish granting slavery. So exciting.🤗🤗

Wow, this is interesting. Falling in love with a genie sounds like the impossible but your charm was too strong for your genie to even resist you.
In the end, you freed yusuf, didnt run out of coffee and as well kept him by your side forever.
