I hope that all is well.
Today, I just want to share with you, a quick coffee date with my husband.
He insisted on having a quick date with me over coffee. Who would decline this kind of offer? Hehe!
Since we are near the malls, both big and small ones, we have a lot of options.
This time, though, he said that he wanted to try ‘Zeus Coffee’. It’s kinda new coffee shop in the Philippines and we haven’t tried it yet since it was launched early this year.
So when we went there, we were both first timers.
THE AMBIENCE
I can say that the ambience in this branch near our house is spacious. At this time, since it’s not peak hours, there were a few people in the coffee shop.
So we never had any problem waiting.
What’s also good is we took advantage of the buy 1 take 1 as first timers.
Our eyes widened since we could save up since our second drink is free!
While my husband was downloading the Zeus app, I took the chance to look at their pastries.
The bread and cakes look big for the price. It’s affordable! We didn’t order, though since our goal was to taste their drinks first.
Here are their drinks.
I ordered a hot spanish latte and my husband ordered a dark choco cold drink.
We can also get the chance to choose the kind of beans we prefer. I chose the boss beans. You can check the description below:
Hubby chose the other Lydia beans.
While waiting for the turn, I can't help but to look at the city ordinance.
They don’t serve plastic for dine in which makes me happy as they stick with the law.
They served the coffee in a few minutes, which was faster than we expected.
I like handcrafted coffee. It makes the coffee looks extra special special.
Time to taste! Mmmmm, I must say that I’m happy with the taste. The coffee is very rich, and the aroma relaxes my nerves.
I enjoyed it so much, even though that this is already my 3rd cup at this time. Although the first two were instant coffee.
I also tried to sip my husband’s drink. It’s dark chocolate so it’s not so sweet but instead, it’s taste is very rich.
We had a quick chat and enjoyed our quick date over coffee.
We planned to go back to try the other flavors.
I can say that we are both happy with it. And would definitely go back next time.
Aside from the cup of coffee, I enjoyed the quick catch-up with my husband!
Times like this are so precious, especially we are both parenting a toddler and sometimes we rarely have a deep talk about our days.
After our coffee we went home with a big smile, satisfied with the quick chill we had!

The drinks look really good especially the Spanish latte. Glad you got to enjoy some quiet time together… moments like these are truly precious when you have a little one at home...

Everything there is so modern, full of lights, and especially that brand of coffee they sell there, with such a wide variety to choose from.
