As many of you already know, I like to take a break from my daily activities, whether I’m at home or out doing something else, and it’s one of the times when I immerse myself in reflecting on whatever’s on my mind or on everything in general. This time I took my break at a very picturesque spot themed around anime: Cafe Aki. This one is on my Sunday routes, near the church I attend.

A mutual friend told me about the place. Since she knows I love original and fun coffees, she pointed it out to me, and I was delighted, as I didn’t realize it was so close to where I spend my Sundays; at the time we couldn’t visit, but I was hooked on it until I finally got to go and have one of their coffees last Sunday, that is, yesterday. Upon arriving and after taking my obligatory photos and placing my order, my favorite moment arrived: reflection. I thot about my week and everything I had done until I arrived at this café.

I was excited because I finally got to visit her; I’d kept my promise to come. Plus, I felt like I ended my week on a high note—and what better way than with one of my favorite drinks, a delicious café con leche? On the other hand, as I admired all the decor, I thot this was an iconic spot for anime fans, and I felt like just another fan even tho I’m not particularly into these characters.

Likewise, I reflected on everything I had coordinated to get here, since I also brought one of my daughters along to accompany me and she was excited about the plan. I had already told her that I wanted to visit this place after the Sunday service, and she thot it was great because they also sell other delicious drinks and desserts.

We were there for about 45 minutes, during which I just enjoyed the atmosphere and my thoughts, not to mention my delicious coffee. I ended my week, as I like to, with a coffee in hand and by sorting thru my thoughts, ideas, and affairs, mentally organizing my fresh start to the week in peace and in a relaxed, beautiful setting. Because you think much better with a cup of coffee, that’s for sure.

This is my entry for The Coffee Shop Prompt | Week 139: Oct 23 - 29. I invite @annafenix and @popurri to participate. Greetings!

Omg as an anime and k pop and drama fan this place looks totally heavenly to me 😍😍
I imagine so, my son is also a fan of anime, I should take him to this café too, it's very original, regards.
What an interesting place! At times, it seems unreal.
I thought the same thing as soon as I saw it. I'm glad you liked it, best regards!
I really their anime them coffee shop, it's like when we were inside this place. We would feel the anime vibe and feel young. A great place to sip coffee and do reflection.
It's a very beautiful and peaceful place, conducive to reflection. Greetings!
A magnificent place, ideal for my children, who are anime fans. I remember my oldest son and I binge-watched the anime series where Luffy was the main character. Until I said enough of the anime 😂. But it would be wonderful to visit it together with my children, since they loved the coffee as much as I did 😍. They would love that idea a lot.
Above all, you managed to keep your promise, and it's clear you had a great time with your son, even more so if they enjoyed sipping coffee and watching anime. Greetings 🥰🤗
Yes, it's an ideal place for anime lovers. Not only do they serve coffee, but they also sell fortune cookies and other sweets. The perfect addition for the family, especially for children. Thank you for your lovely visit 🌹
I know several people who would be fascinated because, besides loving coffee, they love anime, and many of the characters there. I loved that big picture of Luffy! Hey, but you didn't give any details about where it is, @brujita18. I really want to know! 😅😂😂
Hello! It's in Caracas, Venezuela, opposite the San Ignacio shopping center. Coming by subway from Chacao station, go up where the 3D sign is and you can't miss it. If you get the chance, visit it. Best regards!
They definitely knew how to create the right atmosphere... anime fans would never want to leave, what a beautiful place. Thanks for the invitation, manis.
I'm not a fan, but I liked it. Imagine someone who is. In fact, I wasn't the only one taking photos. Hugs, friend!
