Greetings coffee lovers, today I come to tell you how I was mixing Venezuelan coffee and Colombian chocolate, thus uniting, in my palate, the flavors of two brother countries.
Recently my daughter received as a gift two chocolate bars with a very elegant packaging, minimalist design and very good looking, I must clarify that at home we are chocolate lovers, me much more than my daughter, because she rejects some and I devour them all.
We quickly opened them and proceeded to taste them, really delicious, although I still prefer the cocoa from my country, I could not complain. My daughter thought they tasted like soap and abandoned them.
This morning, after finishing my work in the kitchen (we are remodeling) it was time to prepare coffee and I had the brilliant idea to melt some chocolate in my coffee cup, the result was great!
Saludos amantes del café, hoy vengo a contarles como me fue mezclando el café venezolano y el chocolate colombiano, uniendo así, en mi paladar, los sabores de dos países hermanos.
Recientemente a mi hija le trajeron de regalo dos barras de chocolate con un empaque muy elegante, de diseño minimalista y muy buen aspecto, debo aclarar que en casa somos amantes del chocolate, yo mucho más que mi hija, pues ella rechaza algunos y yo los devoro todos.
Rápidamente los abrimos y procedimos a probarlos, realmente deliciosos, aunque sigo prefiriendo el cacao de mi país, no me podía quejar. A mi hija le pareció que sabían a jabón y los abandonó.
Esta mañana, al terminar mis labores en la cocina (estamos remodelando) llegó la hora de preparar el café y se me ocurrió la brillante idea de derretir un poco de chocolate dentro de mi taza de café, el resultado fue grandioso!!
The piece of chocolate did not melt completely, which made the last sip came loaded with surprises, having two types of chocolate, one milk and one with 64$ cocoa, I wanted my coffee with the milk chocolate, but I was wrong and used the one with only cocoa, for the next drink I will use the other one!
In the end the chocolate floated on the coffee, not the bar, it was more like a chocolatey film, pure unmatched taste, which I loved!!! Unfortunately I can't give my opinion on mixing the coffee with the milk chocolate, and may have to wait until tomorrow, but I will update the post in the comments.
I had already tried coffee with these mixtures, but this one surprised me because the chocolate did not steal the limelight from the coffee flavor, but on the contrary the flavors merged and enhanced each other, masterful, I think I will make a chocolate and coffee cake this afternoon, let's keep exploring!
El trozo de chocolate no se derritió por completo, lo que hizo que el último sorbo viniera cargado de sorpresas, al tener dos tipos de chocolate, uno de leche y otro con 64$ de cacao, yo quería mi café con el chocolate de leche, pero me equivoqué y use el de solo cacao, para la próxima bebida usaré el otro!
Al final el chocolate flotaba sobre el café, no la barra, era más bien como una película achocolatada, de puro sabor sin igual, que me encantó!! Lamentablemente no puedo emitir mi opinión sobre la mezcla del café con el chocolate de leche, y quizás deba esperar a mañana, pero haré la actualización del post en los comentarios.
Ya había probado el café con estas mezclas, pero esta me sorprendió porque el chocolate no le robó el protagonismo al sabor del café, sino que por el contario los sabores se fusionaron y se potenciaron entre si, magistral, creo que haré una torta de chocolate y café esta tarde, sigamos explorando!

I love how the chocolate is left on top as a light but delicious layer of fat, of course I have not tried Colombian chocolate, but the Turkish if and although it is not as good if it leaves a good taste, thanks for sharing :D
